Another Alaskan image from the day we spent with the bears in Katmai National Park and Preserve back in August. I'm usually on the landscape forum, so this is something a bit different for me. This is one of 2 cubs that was having a great time whenever mum caught a salmon. They'd come bounding over and grab whatever they could, usually after mum had made that big crunch into the salmon. A very special day for us experiencing the beast this close.

A very nice capture for both you and the cub Andrew! It looks like its making a break for safety with its prize!

Very cute! That cub is one happy little guy. Nice soft light, I like your composition giving us a good sense of the habitat.
