Whitetail lip curl

The whitetail pre-rut is in full swing, I have been out a few times and the last few days the bucks have been making the rounds, scent marking and checking for does.
this big guy was doing the flehmen display. Busy BG but that is where he lives!

Very nice image with good choice of DOF. The busy BG does not bother me at all. I do wish either the tail we in the frame or the crop were tighter on the head. If you have enough resolution you might want to try cropping tighter. Just a constructive thought.

Nice behavior. I'm with Ed on the tail clipped- actually I would crop the right so that the tree is at the edge of the frame and then just a bit off from the left. As it is, with so much space on the right and the rump just clipped, it seems like a mis-framed shot.
