Good catch.
At one point I found myself looking at 9 bears along the river. There was so much food that they ate only the head and the eggs. The poor Salmons that were caught post spawning (without eggs) didn't have the privilege to be eaten and were thrown injured back into the water.

I have never seen a black bear shot with salmon. How wonderful! Great shot with the water spraying from the fish.

I really like this. There is so much detail. The composition is so well balanced with the rocks counter-balancing the bear. I also like the shape of the fish and the exposed pads of the paw. Lots of interesting stuff to look at, and it all comes together well.

Hello Tyohar

Did see your image but I have been busy , So I now have a few moments... Great to see the interaction between Salmon & Black Bear! The Salmon for me makes the image stand out ! With the salmons interesting position and water splashing from it recent emersion from the water! The paw and claws add to the image too!

Not sure about the eye and can not make out if a scar or an obstruction overlapping the one Visible Eye?

Thanks & congrats on EP, Well deserved.

Bill

The detail is what stands out here. The fish almost outshines the bear. Love the shot.

Great action -- the rocks make a nice simple background.
