Hey folks - just back from leading a photographic safari to the Great Migration, we were based in the Mara Triangle and it didn't disappoint!

Found this mom of 5 cubs on two occasions and on both she hunted and pulled down Thomson's Gazelle for the little ones!

Here she is bringing the first kill back to the litter, pretty much full frame.

I love the way mother's head turn makes the connection with her cubs and this is so enhanced by the adoring gaze of the little one on the left. A superb image Morkel.

Excellent photo. Being a Cheetah mother is probably one of the hardest tasks of motherhood in nature. She looks healthy, great to see.

Congrats Morkel, I like how one cub is looking at mom and the other at the prey, nicely composed.
