A tigress in Tadoba National Park.

I like this image because it shows the habitat of the tiger, and because of the spooky ambiance of the forest.

I really like the mood of this shot and the way you've captured the tiger in its habitat. The animal is wonderfully cryptic here and is almost like a ghost in the woods. In terms of composition, I think it would be stronger if the tiger were move off center by cropping the right & bottom a bit. Regardless, I really like the photograph.

Thanks Bruce. I did consider some cropping (right and bottom, as you said), but in the end didn't want to cut off the trees/small stumps on the right side. But thanks for the feedback.

Always nice to see a tiger in its environment...it does seem a bit spooky too. I know you could not help it but I am not a great fan of out-of focus objects in the foreground. Did you try a vertical?
