Can't help liking this very striking image Thomas, I think the pose of the preening Oxpecker is the icing on the cake in this beautifully detailed study.

Hi! A really beautiful and interesting image to my eye. I like the non-traditional composition with the gaze of the animal looking outwards ... normally a problem, but it works really well here with how much the Wildebeest fills the frame. I also really like all of the subtle tones and variation of green throughout the image. I particularly like the out of focus foliage in the foreground. My only complaint is that the brightish trunk in the background behind the bird does draw some of my attention.

Such rich color and detail. The hide is so wrinkled! Very nice.
