Large Male Leopard

Still going thru images from May trip to the Mara... We found this guy in deep cover and waited for him to hit a little patch of clearing. Only had a few seconds with him in pretty bad light... so I went B&W

Well done!, good separation from the bkgrnd, Like you can see the four legs clearly and the instride front looks great!

I like the B+W treatment it makes for a strong image in this case.

Stunning! Looks like a gritty street scene but of a beautiful muscular Leopard instead! I really like the bokeh in bottom left and top right. The blur in the foot, while seemingly never desirable, really works well here and adds to the mood of the image. The exposure looks spot on with bright whites and rich darks. I really like this one.

Bad light maybe but a good shot and it works well in black and white. Always a nice animal to capture.

Always good to see one of these beautiful cats Lou, even if only for a few seconds. It looks like this big boy has just had a nice feed with his full belly, and black and white suits the image well and shows off the markings beautifully.
