That is one dramatic sky Peter! You can almost feel the tension in the air with the approaching storm.

I really like the light in this image... truly dramatic.
Compositionally, I think the shot might be a bit stronger if the lion were shifted to the right a bit and the frame included the entire log (to the left)

bruce

Impressive sky --- I agree with the suggestion about composition.

Dramatic lighting. Good compositional suggestions, but I also like this as is.

Wonderful light and sky! The light on the lioness is so sweet. I agree with the other compositional suggestions.

It's a great scene but something looks off to me here. The lioness almost looks like a cut and paste job?

I like the drama in this shot with the approaching storm. There have been suggestions about the composition....to me the problem is two conflicting centres of interest...the lioness and the light patches in the sky. I don't think showing the whole log would alter this

Lovely light and pose on the lion, Peter.

I know you like to add additional blur in PP to the BG, but here the blur on the land in the BG and the "out-of-focus-ness" of the sky doesn't match up. This also makes me think the sky was composited/dropped in?
