KITS

Early springtime Red Fox Kits.

The curious kits were a treat to witness with their playful Antics!

Here a Tick has been attached to the eye lid , but was soon removed by the mother fox.

D600, @ 400mm VR on normal, 1/500 speed, Hand Held while lying prone in the grasses, ISO 800, taken late afternoon, Some cropping,

Wild Fox, Not baited or called in

Comments and Critique appreciated

Super cute image! Glad the tick was removed by momma.I think you could improve the image with a bit of NR, especially on the BG.

I like the low angle and the 2nd kit peaking over its shoulder. If it were mine I'd get rid of the tick. Very nice overall. Steve

A good record shot illustrating just one of the parasites wildlife have to contend with Bill. This would be a useful addition to a series of images showing the life of wild foxes if you were giving a presentation. I'm thinking the bg noise is probably more to do with the crop factor rather than low light.

Very cute image and well captured. I am glad Mom removed the tick because I have an urge to reach out and do it.

Thanks very much everyone for your comments and critiques!

I prefer NOT to clone out things and stuff, but take it as it appeared naturally when captured!

Cheers
