Captured in Kaziranga National Park, India both were inquisitive enough to try and sniff and find out who I was. After assuring themselves that I meant no harm they lumbered inside the jungle.

Kaziranga is amazing. One of the most spectacular places I've seen!

I really like the way the elephants are framed by trees and forest. There is an interesting symmetry to the image with the curled trunks and position of the bodies.

I love the quality of the light in this, almost glowing. So sweet with the mum and little calf tucked in protectively. The forest is attractive and I like the way you've used the trees to frame the scene.
