Canon 7D, Canon 300 f2.8is I, f8, 1/320. ISO 640, Tripod
Please view in shadowbox. A shot from a few years ago. This young bull approached cautiously just after sunrise. It seemed so sweet and curious. Think I might be getting moose fever... been over a year now since I have been up to Northern Maine. I shot this with a 300 f2.8is Version 1 which happens to be the only piece of gear that I sold and completely regretted. I sold it to fund a 500, and I quickly realized that I missed the image quality and versatility (for me) of the more portable 300. In fact, I regretted it so much that I ended up selling the 500 to purchase another 300 2.8, this time the Version II. Love it. Chris White
