There was a female cheetah with three cubs stationed just outside the Intrepids Mara Camp, Masai Mara, Kenya. The cubs were at a cute age and their mother was a great hunter. As is their habit they would rest up on a mound and the warm morning light allowed for some nice shots.

Canon EOS 1D Mk3, 400ISO, 500mm f4, 1/100sec, f.5.6, beanbag mounted.

What a lovely view of this precious frame filling family!  Wonderful image Graeme and so sweet with all turning to show their faces to the camera - and more importantly those beautiful amber eyes glowing in the gorgeous morning light.  A beauty!

I'm not sure you could have captured a better family portrait in better light... you definitely made the most of your opportunity.
Super image.

A truly amazing shot, Graeme. The little ones are really cute and it is great that you have eye contact practically all four. Beautiful light as well.
