Wonderful shot. The yellow flowers are a perfect match for the dark fox. Stunning!

Hello Missy

Great Capture !

The Square crop fits nicely here. Surrounding yellow flowers help the separate the main subject & lead you into the Fox. The natural catchlight is excellent and it accentuates those powerful staring eyes!

Thanks for sharing

When you click on this to bring in the darker surround you really get the full effect of that riveting stare! Stunning image Missy, exquisite detail in the face - right down to that pesky fly near the eye, and the setting among the dreamy yellow cloud of wildflowers is just beautiful. Perfect use of selective focus right where it makes the most impact. A beauty!

Love the peep through the flowers here.
Overall image quality on the face seems to have suffered a bit, Missy, is this a large crop?

The square crop works well and the fox peeking out from the yellow flowers is very nice. Steve

Thank you Morkel.  I did have to crop more than 50% which does compromise the image unfortunately :(

I absolutely love this photograph. The contrast between the flowers and fox and shallow depth of field really makes the subject jump off the screen.

superb work!
