Autumn is fast approaching and is one of my favorite times of the year for wildlife photography.  The variety of weather can make for moody images.  Here's one from  a few  years back in Yellowstone

Totally agree. I love the mood here. This is so cool. Its tough to pull off an image where your subject is walking away, but you did it here really well.

Thank you, I know it's hard to pull off this type of image but there are rewards..  I number of years ago I was speaking with Martha Hill who was then editor of Audubon Magazine and she told me she'd much rather see a well done image without the animal staring at you.  She said they were hard to find but she viewed them favorably..

Beautiful setting, the falling snow really makes this image. Would have been nice had the bull been turned just a little to his left!

I love the mood portrayed here but not too keen on the rear view, although it could make a nice shot for 'the end' of a slide presentation!

Lovely mood created by the falling snow. I rather like the viewpoint with him walking away, it draws me in to the scene.

Agree Cindy that 's what I was trying to achieve along with a sense of why is the subject looking that way?  What is happening?
