Resting Whitetail buck

I spent a couple of mornings in the whitetail woods last week. I found this dandy of a buck. He decided to take a short break from the humid morning. Although quite dark in the woods the even shade helped out the image!

I don't mind the busy surroundings. Wild animals live in the woods! Nice peaceful shot of this impressive buck.

Real nice buck in a wooded (but busy) setting. Works since it shows the buck where he lives nicely! I would have liked if you could have moved a bit to the left to get the trees away from the left antler.

I like the way he's chosen to lay down amongst the relative camouflage of all those trees and logs, it must make it more difficult for him to be spotted from a distance. What a good looking buck!
