Nothing like a good belly scratch in the morning.  This cinnamon black bear sow gets a personal moment while her cubs look on, morning light filtering through the forest canopy and striking them in Sequoia National Park, California.  Nikon D3s body, 500mm lens, ISO 5000, f4 at 1/320 - 7:18am.

Bears do like a nice scratch/rub! Strange colours in this image even allowing for the early morning light and the tree canopy - a little work in toning down the cyan cast and the over bright greens would improve this a lot.

Great moment, Brent! Love the rim lit cubs in the background. I agree with Carol regarding the funky colours. I think warming up the white balance and toning down the greens and cyans should help greatly.
