There is only a few hours of summer sunlight in Alaska, and there not too many days with sun at all!  This moment was special in so many ways for me.  Thanks for looking

I love the colors, textures and clean silhouettes in this shot! I assume you mean it is overcast or raining a lot in the summer. I know that the days go on forever in the summer up there.

On all my visits to Alaska, I've found the opposite in weather patterns?? I think you're referring to winter conditions right?? :wink:

I must have written this when I came back with Jetjag!  I meant that I had few hours of sunlight... not light.... there was too much daylight and rain!

Another great shot of momma bear and her cubs. I really like the silhouette with color Missy. We may need to start calling you "Dances with bears" with these great bear images. :wink:
