Watching the bears dig for clams, and then take a break so the two spring cubs could nurse was one of the most special wildlife experiences I have ever had.

Nice capture of mum and cubs Missy --- it looks like nap time! To my eye the image looks just a trifle bright. A great behavior shot!

Absolutely wonderful behavior capture, Missy. Easy to see that it was such a special wildlife experience for you! I have never seen a bear cub nursing, so it's a first for me.

Not the easiest light to work with, especially with wet fur and water but you've done pretty well. I love the way the sows lean back in such a relaxed pose to suckle their cubs like this. A sweet capture of this intimate behaviour Missy!

Hello Missy

Well done, capturing them in this intimate moment!

Would have been cool to get more eye contact from them (Mom & baby) !

thanks for sharing

This is a very touching image. I love the composition here with the water in the background and the bears seemingly oblivious to you.
Nice work.
