Alligator Snapping turtle resting on a bank underwater, with it's reflection on the undersurface of the water.

Nikon D3s, 17-35mm, f8, ss 250, ISO 400, Aquatica housing, Inon strobes.

Since big Snappers like this don't really have any in water predators (maybe big Alligators), I guess he didn't care about my getting close. He was more intent on what he was looking at above the surface. This was taken from about 3-4 feet at 17mm. I was just snorkeling, on a Manatee shoot. At my age 2 maybe 3 shots on one breath!, but I wanted to be below and shoot up to get the reflection.
