We had a very limited window to look at the hiding place of this mother of 2 cubs but from this angle we got a decent look at their hide. She was only trying to rest but the cubs were hyper. The one in the back got his eye injured probably from thorny bush.

Lovely family portrait --- the affection between mom and cub really makes the shot.

Hello Tyohar

WOW, So intimate! Love this cat capture. The interaction with the little guys really makes this a special representation!

Interested to understand Where was this captured? Country and region ?

Not too familiar with these cats, but understand they are elusive and quite difficult to get anything worthwhile, were you in a blind ?

really enjoy this image

Bill

Hello Bill,
Thank you for the warm feedback. The photo was taken in North Serengeti. We were in our safari vehicle.
Yes, leopards are not easy to spot as they are solitary and nocturnal. Once we spotted in this hiding place them we knew where to find her for few days until she moved them again.
Cheers,
Tyohar

Lovely behaviour interaction between tired mother and lively cub Tyohar, it looks like she's holding the cub to stop it annoying her any more! I wonder if the other cub will survive with a damaged eye - it will depend on whether it will be blind in that eye.

A beautiful and intimate view of this family.
