We were driving in a gravel road looking for a specific specie of bird when I spot this male monkey. He was the alpha (dominant) monkey and his troop was there. Also several females with their offspring and one other younger male above him (not in the frame). Suddently this male beggins to orinate but heck! right there the monkey above him starts to urinate right above the big boss! ha ha ha that was such a sighting for us! So many years in this bussines and never saw a monkey doing it right on top of other one!
Just look at his facial expression! he seems to be saying something like ''what do you think you are doing?"

Hi Juan, Took me a while to figure out the dynamic here and that actually there are 2 monkeys urinating here.
They do that as a territorial claim or to express a disliking, and they are very accurate in hitting the target. Seriously. :)

I think the big boss has the upstart in his sights! The ultimate insult will not go unpunished - unless the youngster is able to stage a take-over of the troop. I see trouble ahead!

Good behaviour capture - and I love the expression on the face of the alpha male!
