Here's a portrait of a young Kudu from Addo Elephant National Park, South Africa, often the younger animals are more approachable than adults. Photographed from our safari vehicle. Almost full frame, just a small crop from the right.

Kudu are such pretty animals. The soft light is nice here, and that tongue sticking out at you makes me smile.

Wow! excellent portrait.  Consider toning down or cloning out the light colored branch on the left?  It does pull the eye from your subject a little.  Dave

A pretty mammal. You got it posing nicely for you and with nice soft light. Nate would it make sense to boost the temperature in this one?

lovely portrait. Soon he'll need a bigger frame to fit in with his curling horns.

I love Kudu, such a striking and handsome species, and this is a lovely portrait Nate!  This looks like it was in fading light to give the pale tones?  If you could boost the colours slightly to a warmer level it would really make it sing IMO - but that is probably not what you saw. 8)
