I made this image last May while leading a photography tour in Costa Rica.
We were at the Tortuguero National park and this female green iguana was surrounded by native vagetation and allow us to get pretty close. The tail is not visible in this image but I don't mind as is the face and spiny back what makes the image for me. I hope you like it as well. 1D Mark IV 300f/4 Hand held.
