Kermode Bear is a Black Bear with a white gene . The female can have twin cubs and maybe one white & one Black.
Rare to see, many of the local natives have never seen these mystical giants.

A Temperate Rain Forest, with heavy rains and dark forest.

Very nice pose of a beautiful bear. The green and yellow leaves and the log are a nice touch, too. Steve

Lovely image of a beautiful bear. I like the use of the log framing the bottom of the image. Nice pose with the front part exposed and attention on you.

Nice perspective looking up to the bear - emphasizes its superiority.  The moss and detail in the log are nice compliments.

Nice perspective on this handsome bear. We've seen some lovely images of these wonderful creatures - and this is no exception!

Thanks for the feedback , ...really appreciate!

The Adventure was amazing and turned out quite different from my expectations.
The Weather here in northern Pacific during the autumn time can be severe at times.
During this 10 days we were hampered with severe winds and horizontal winds constantly. While staying on board the amazing 71 foot boat for safety etc. The 3 hurricane storms were constant and during this time we only spent 4 hours over 10 days Photographing the wildlife.

BUT, an amazing adventure still, Always to be remembered . And I am returning this October to pursue those elusive characters I only had small glimpses of from the previous trip.
