This adult Leopard is defending her dinner from her adolescent, who is getting big enough that she has to yield some of her kill to him/her. We were sitting in our open game vehicle quite close when the action began.

Nice spotlight effect on the cat, what a great snarl. Well done.

Hi

An excellent if somewhat gruesome image – and one very fearsome snarl.

I think mum can keep her dinner and I’ll still with the cornflakes (laughing). Seriously a superb image

All the best
Matthew

Is that natural light or some other light source? Anyway, stunning light, action, and pose. That eyeball (of the prey) really caps it off!

Spotlight from the ranger in the vehicle as it was getting dark.

Nice snarl here - looks like spotlight was used for fill light?
That bushbuck eye is just freaky :D
