The Hunt

Taken in Ndutu Marsh, Tanzania, earlier last month on my Tanzania Photo Tour.

Chaos erupted as she chased them towards the marsh and made a quick kill. You can see the one Wildebeest that struggled hard to get away.

1Dmk4, 500 f/4 L IS, ISO 800, beanbag.

Wonderful action you captured. Something looks a little strange to me as the zebra/wildebeast look muted and hazy while the lion looks vibrant and sharp.

Excellent composition and point of view. I suspect something in your processing trying to bring out the lioness has left her looking "pasted in" to the scene though, from a sharpness standpoint as well as the brightness that Milo noted. This is such a unique and interesting perspective, very much brings you right in to the hunt.
