Shot right off Highway 1 near Cambria, CA, this male bobcat was successful on his third pounce while I was photographing him. Lots of vehicle traffic kind of hid me in a noise buffer and he paid no attention to me at about 30 yards, for about 45 minutes. Lots of great shots. Nikon D7100 body, 500mm f4 lens, ISO 800, f4 at 1/750 second, window rest, raw converted to jpg in CS6.
