I went to a den this evening and saw this kit.  I was told the vixen has already moved some of the other kits to another den so this might be the only chance I had.  I know the background is very busy but not much I could do about it.  Canon 7D   500 with 1.4x  1/200   f/6.3   Bean bag from my truck.  ISO 400  Steve

My kind of image, The female normally only moves the kits if she feels the den is threatened, This can happen if you shoot the den without a hide/blind or just getting too close, Not saying you have,The image shows the cubs habitat, They do have strange eyes at this age,Nice image to have on file

I like this Steve, showing us the den and how well "hidden" it is. The little one is so cute! Looking forward to more of your foxes :)

Hi

A fine shot – and this image is not really that busy, the main star is well isolated from the surrounds imo

All the best

Poor little thing looks totally bewildered, probably wondering where the rest of its family have gone. So typical for a fox den site under the roots and a lovely image Steve!

Now that's a young one. I like the framing with the roots.
