One of the many great reptiles from our recent trip.  This one from the tropical rainforest of northeast Queensland.

Hi

A fine capture of this cool looking fellow – good timing to get that pleasingly active display behaviour and an interesting image to view.

Regarding suggestions – really only switching to a vertical format at shooting time, because I feel this would have given a stronger compositional option, but then that would all depend upon the timing

All the best
Matthew

I agree with Matthew if you had time to zoom out.
Cool pose with the dewlap and the mouth open.

What a cool little reptile, I like the pose catching the mouth open, as it shows off all the features of the head and throat well. The inclusion of the habitat gives such a good sense of place.
