A fenced grave at the Catholic Cemetery in Virginia City, NV, tells about the wealth of its occupant. The huge piles of tailings in the background symbolize the damage to the environment that was done to acquire that wealth. The tailings will continue to be there for a long time; the wealth has become useless for its owner. Nice grave, though.

A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Great story Jens -- are the tailings from silver mining?
