This image was taken in Varanasi, during the Ganga Aarti . The pundits are offering their prayers to the holy river ganga with dhoop( a mixture of coconut skin and camphor burned together) considered to be scared in hindu religion. The idea of going b/w was to capture the texture of smoke in a diffrent way in the frame.

camera : canon 70D + 55-250mm
shutter : 1/60s
aperture: f/4
iso : 1250
focal length: 60mm

The quotation mark at the end of the filename prevents the image display. Please rename the file without the ` character, and upload again.

Looks great Anirban -- I really like the composition, and the B/W treatment shows the smoke very well. Nice work!
