Sunflowers - Adams County, North Dakota
a7R Mk II, 24-70mm @ 43mm, ISO 250, f/9, 1/100

I just returned from a week of shooting in the Dakotas and NW Nebraska.  Nebraska was the 50th state I've visited :)  Here is one I stopped to take while driving through SW North Dakota where there are many sunflower farms.  I got on top of the car and with the tilt screen held the camera way over my head making full use of the 5 axis stabilization.

Pure flower power, brother!
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

This is amazing. And I can imagine how it must look like when magnifying the full size image on the monitor - like using a telephoto zoom with much detail even in the distance. That's so far one of the most amazing experiences with my a7rII. Joerg

I'm still waiting for the opportunity to capture an image like this of a large field of sunflowers. All I find are the smaller wild varieties! A dream shot!

A beautiful image, the roof top view is the kicker. I see an E.J. portable roof top mat and telescopic ladder kit showing up the NatureScapes Store.
