Last September we went to southern China timing our visit before the rice harvest.  Most mornings were cloud covered with no light.  for just a few minutes these rays peeked through the clouds.  The hike up to the village was a long climb, but worth it.  I stayed in the village for 2 nights.

No data on this capture as it is part of the file that got lost  in my crashed hard drive.

Really holds my attention. The balance is striking, greater than the sum of it's parts.
Thanks

Dear Susan:

A marvelous image. Too bad about the crashed hard drive. Regrettably, we all experience technology failures from time to time -- and typically at the most inopportune times.

Best Regards,

Roman :-)

Wonderful Light/shadow play.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Spectacular light and atmo.
Probably best suited for the travel and culture gallery due to the human elements.
