This is a classic Vermont scene which has been photographed to death. A bout of nasty weather was moving in and the fog opened and then closed in.  We packed our gear and headed into New Hampshire ahead of the rain.

Lovely fall scene -- the layers of mist really make the shot. I especially like the mist on the rolling green foreground.

Wonderful mix of colors.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
