Prespa Lakes region, North-West Greece

All along the eastern edge of the smaller lake (Mikri Prespa) there are miles and miles of fields of beans, trained up their neat poles.  The poles, cut from the Phragmites reeds, are gathered and stacked in very neat piles about 8 feet x 8 feet, ready for use, at the edges of the fields.

I took the opportunity to photograph the detail of one such stack of poles.

Tilt-shift used with swing for running depth of field.

Hope you like: many thanks for taking a look.

I really like the pattern in this one. Great job seeing an image where most people would just walk by without noticing anything.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Excellent abstract! Thanks much for the technical details, the benefits of tilt-shift/swing might be taken for granted otherwise.
