Monday night was a fantastic display of Aurora Borealis, living in the Twin Cities it is sometimes hard to get somewhere without light pollution. But they were so strong that this image was taken just outside of the Metro area. It was a great night of Aurora photography. This image taken about 1;30AM with the aid of a little bit of "light painting"!

Like jets of gas shooting into the night sky; very dynamic.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
