Eureka Mine Death Valley

Not much remaining of the mining shack at the mine site. It appears that the site is used by the locals for target practice and anger management-every metal object at the site was riddled with bullet holes .

Truly a ghost town -- the bullet holes apparently left by those who could just hit the broad side of barn. ;)

I really like this. Decay always fascinates me. Regarding the bullet holes: must be visitors from nearby Nevada. Our state has twice as many registered guns as it has residents. And they always run out of traffic signs to shoot at.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
