The Museum Broeker Veiling ,located in Broek op Langedijk ,Holland, is the oldest sail -through vegetable auction in the world. This image shows one of the mooring halls. During the auction these barges were pulled through the auction hall and bids were placed using the traditional Dutch Auction .

Thanks for  the comment Gary. From a tech stand point this is a simple three exposure HDR using using the NIK HDR converter. I didn't have a tripod so I braced the camera against a post and shot in a rapid three exposure sequence.

I am guilty  of producing harsh gritty HDR images therefore I made an effort to reign this image in a bit and make it as natural as possible. I am always open for suggestions on how one tones down the HDR effect.

This is gorgeous. Don't know what else to say other than it could hang in a museum

This is an absolutely superb photo. It has great texture, great color, intriguing subject matter, exceptional composition. There is absolutely nothing about this photo that isn't outstanding.

Even though the hdr effect is apparent, it complements the subject well especially the ripples and reflection -- very well done.

Well done on detail and tonality. Love the way the eye is lead into the distant background. Thanks for giving us some info on the subject.
