Not even mighty Lake Tahoe is immune against the drought that in its fourth year now. The watermarks on the wall to the right illustrate that unmistakeably.
I was able to place the camera between the lake and the boat launch ramp at this small Carnelian Bay marina without blocking anybody's activities. A little earlier I walked up to the dam locks at Tahoe's only outlet, from the lake side and without getting my feet wet. There are now more than 600 feet of former lake bed between the locks and the new lakeshore. A7, 50/1.4 ZE @ f/8 A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
