An old train ferry terminal frames a retired war ship in San Francisco Harbor.

A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Hi

I like the fun of this image but I also feel the composition is a little weak - for instance why is not all of the arch included, why is the arch so tight to the right frames edge, why have the lower elements so partially seen within the frame. Without really knowing the area, or being there, is it hard to judge these aspects and perhaps there are very good reasons why this had to be the composition - but it is just feeling a little incomplete for my tastes.

Having said the above I love the playfulness of the scene captured and like the idea of this shot very much

All the best
Matthew

Clever idea -- I wish there was a bit of separation between the rails and the ship so that a bit more water was visible.
