It had been cold standing on the beach waiting for the sunset, but I think it was worth the wait...

Best viewed on the Lightbox

In fact this peaceful scene was far from it.  Behind me (and often in front of the camera) streams of people were walking past enjoying the fine winter's afternoon.  It was only as dusk fell that the vast numbers of people dwindled to a few dog walkers (but I wish dogs didn't view the tripod and camera bag as potential toilet stops!)

As always, appreciate all feedback

Beautiful sunset and interesting light Phil -- sorry about the tripod legs! Some dog owners are surprisingly oblivious about their responsibility to control and clean-up after their pets.
