Really like the colours, and the composition . Though I wonder if by moving to the rock in the foreground and shooting from there would enhance the composition and remove some of the white sky.

Thanks Peter, I appreciate you commenting.  I really tried to eliminate as much of the visible sky as I could but I really wanted the leaves and lichen that are visible on that rock to be present in the foreground so moving up was not an option but coming back on a better day next year sure is.

I am glad I view this on the darker background. It really shows off the detail in the coloring. This is a beautiful photo.

Great composition and excellent processing.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
