A beautiful morning on Brighton beach, looking at the old pier.

Beautiful image Jane. I really like the subtle tones / composition and choice of shutter speed.

Gorgeous image Jane -- nice work on exposure for the water. I especially like the foreground, the pastel sky and the composition. Care to share the techs? ;)

Good choice of exposure length for the sky and water. The silhouettes go well with the pastels.

I like the hint of motion in the clouds and the water, indicating how time zooms by, taking with it the glory days this structure has seen. Pinball Wizzard is playing in my head now: "From Soho down to Brighton, I must have seen them all".
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
