Sigachan - Isle of Skye, Scotland
Phase One 645DF+, IQ260, 45mm, ISO 50, 1/4s, f/11

I just returned from 9 days in Scotland with Phase One.  The older bridge that you can see through the newer bridge is an oft photographed area on the Isle of Skye.  I was looking for a fresh perspective and went the other way from the traditional shooting spots and shot the old bridge through the new bridge with the Ciullin (Skye Mountains) framed under the bridge.  The dark conditions lent itself well to Black and White.

I like the mountain's shape under the new bridge's arch being repeated in the FG rock in the stream.

Very crisp -- love the detail! I also like the framing, and the B/W treatment.

Refreshingly different perspective on the Sligachan bridges, and nice framing for the view of the Cuillin behind. Beautifully done E.J. - especially with the atrocious weather during your visit!

Excellent composition, framing a bridge with a bridge. Not a fan of B&W, though; would like to see the color version, if possible.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
