Earth Shadow through the pier

Got up early to shoot the rare occurrence of the full moon setting at the end of Scripps pier. Well, by the time the moon set it was so bright out that you could not see the moon. But, before that, I was able to get a shot of the earth shadow.  The colors turned out pretty nice.

Nice gradation in the glow and the parallel lines of the waves to go with it.

Great arrangement of vertical and horizontal lines.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
