A different take on this fascinating barn.  Later afternoon flat light and drizzle, hence B&W.

The B/W conversion suits the stone walls and large tree very well. To my eye the truncated trees are a bit distracting. As an alternate approach, have you tried vertical shots of the end of the barn with large tree -- perhaps that could give a simpler composition? Perhaps some tighter detail shots of sections of the stonework would be interesting too, especially in B/W. A refreshing take on this subject!
