While out instructing my "October Sunrise" class at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, I took a few images myself for a demonstration of Lightroom when we went back in the classroom. The sun was coming up very hot so I directed the students to shoot in this direction away from the sun and it was the best color of the morning.

Very pretty scene. The upper left is really hot but overall I still love the shot.

thanks for the comment E.J. you are right it is really hot in the upper left, the sun was further to the left and with no clouds it was very hot. I did my best to minimize the hot area but did no want to clip the Tamaracks and wanted the bench in the image!

Beautiful sunrise -- a bit of pp shadow detail and masking would fix the hot spot in upper left. The park bench is a nice touch.

A very pretty scene - I agree with the others about the hot spot and I like the bench in the corner. Steve

This is a lovely seen. I can see myself sitting on the bench contemplating working out. Very nice!

Wonderful still life.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
