Went to Great Falls Virginia today to see if there were any fall color changes. Nothing to colorful yet until these Kayakers showed up.
On average 7 people drown per year at this site. These guys were good!

The blur and splashes make it look like he is flying.

Did you pan this image? The kayaker is fairly focused, while everything else - even the rocks - is blurred.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Jens, hand held and a slight pan. The Kayaker is actually pretty still sitting in an eddy.
Going through the series, I actually have one with the rocks in focus with the kayaker. Should have posted that one!
