I spent the day driving around looking for some early fall color in Central MN.I came across this old abandon barn. It looks like it is ready to fall into the wetland.

Nice shot John -- that does seem an unlikely location for a barn. Apparently the wetlands have expanded over the years, and the background suggests that this is a higher elevation, perhaps near a lake or river? In any event, it's a fine scene and the sky is a classic.

Thanks for the comment Gary! both lake and river right in the area, lots of rain this spring one of the reason it is so wetter than normal in this area!

Cool find. Seems a bit soft though.

I like this view showing the lily pads.

Great scene. Did you also try a version with the barn more prominent?
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Thanks for the comments everyone! Jens Peerman, Yes absolutely I took many different compositions, but this is one of my favorites, this is a well known barn area and most folks zoom in to include pretty much the bard with only a little of the environment, I did that also, but I like this showing the Lily pads and the nice sky.
