Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse - Pompano Beach, Florida

Canon 1DX | Canon 300 2.8 IS II | Tripod
f/9 @ 20 sec. - ISO 320

An active lightning storm and a handful of 20 second images
led to a photo that came out better than I had hoped!

Very "striking." A nice amount of detail in the non-bright elements. Good catch.

Nice rays from the beacon and good placement of the lightning. Perhaps a CW rotation to level the horizon.

 Fantastic, that is a huge bolt!  How did you get it timed with the rotation of the light? :D
